Goodbye roses

See you again in March (I hope). It's nice having them most of the year, but the best they look are early season or late season. Summers are too hot for them I think. However our area of California seems like a great place to grow them for their long seasons.

I have one rose bush, an old fashion red. Sometimes it blooms in December (not this year) and it is gorgeous then. You captured this one just right.

Thanks Leeda :) I do confess I sprinkled the water on the rose :D And it was taken nearly a month ago. We've had a few here and there, but 3 weeks ago was their real last hurrah.

I only have one rose bush and it was blooming beautifully three weeks ago. Now it's cut back, awaiting April. One cold snap and it's done.

Hey Red, drop me an email at my gmail address (on my profile). I want to communicate about something off the blogs...:-)
