Yes, there has to be, and are, certain eternal truths that span all generations and all cultures.
Nope... it became my favorite color after the nickname... I'll post the story, it's silly.

Thanks for sharing in this meme--it was fun to learn more about you.
Do you think you'll ever splurge for the LASIK surgery Red? I would like to have it done, but I found out that I'd still have to wear glasses for reading, knitting and computer work, so I don't think I'd really gain anything.
Abigail? Stephen? That's something "I" didn't even know about you! LOL. Ruthie - I learned the same thing about LASIK surgery about myself. Folks who wear bifocals have to use reading glasses - so I'm with you - why bother?
@Ruthie... yes... the costs are supposedly less than when I checked it out 5-6 years ago... and my insurance claims it will cover a portion of the cost, but I can find nowhere where they say exactly how much. It'd be nice if it were 80%!
@Mom... well, the names prolly wouldn't come up in conversation... why would it? You're one of the few moms who never press for g-kids. As for why bother with LASIK? Well, I *hope* it would be at least 10 more years without needing reading glasses and the dream of waking up and seeing the world clearly and camping out under the stars (counting the stars!) and glasses not fogging up or worrying about rolling over on them overnight is very tempting.
