Souper Day

Well, I'm making soup today. We have a soup supper at church before our service tonight. It started out at Manhattan Clam Chowder but it now has an italian flavor to it because I couldn't resist buy the tomatoes already seasoned with oregano and thyme and added some other special ingredients, lol. So I think I'm gonna change the name to Little Italy Clam Chowder.

When I cook it often turns out Italian, even when there's no reason for it to be. My salads turn Italian too, lol. Guess that's one good thing I inherited from my Mom who is full-blooded Italian. Woo hoo!

LOL! I tend to Itallianize my food too... but I'm %0 Itallian. Go figure.

I like white clam chowder. I never really got into the red stuff. I can't imagine Italian clam chowder, but I'm sure it tastes good since you're cooking it.

(((Carrot))) that's so sweet! Thank you. I like both, but the red is lighter therefore healthier (ha ha) to make so I opted for that one. Italianized was really good - it was a big hit - I had only about a cupfull left! Which was a good compliment because there were 8 soups tonight and less people than usual - maybe about 30 instead of 40.
